Stage 1 of the extension to S. Antonio Nursing Home in Ryde was completed at the end of October 2016. The extension has enabled the facility to expand their current offer with the addition of 49 beds, new offices, driveway with drop off bay and undercroft parking, a light filled main entry, leading to a café and sitting area for residents and guests to enjoy, internal courtyard and large terraces, prayer room, media room, and physio room.  Stage 2 of the works is due for completion in January 2017, and will include general  renovations to the existing facility and the addition of 13 new beds. Due to the impending redevelopment of our old offices, Restifa & Partners have relocated. We are now situated on Level 3 of 123 Walker Street North Sydney. Our phone, fax and emails all remain the same.

Sydney’s newest and most exciting new dining precinct has now opened it’s doors, on Level 3 of the Chatswood Interchange. The District is a complete re-think of the suburban food court, creating a “laneways” feel within an internal space. This project included an expansion to the existing footprint by way of cantilevered Dining Pods, which also form a curtain wall, enclosing the dining space. The District is also the home of the first Australian Tim Ho Wan restaurant, the world’s cheapest Michelin starred restaurant, as well as 13 other exciting high end eateries. Restifa & Partners are very proud of what we have achieved within the confines of an existing structure, and a time frame of 8 months, all while keeping the project under a strict budget.

Following a seven month construction period, Woolworths has opened it’s doors at Chatswood Interchange. This store includes an expanded cafe offer, catering to busy commuters and workers for on the go breakfast and lunch options, as well as the typically high quality fresh food offer. Restifa and Partners were responsible for the turnkey delivery of this tenancy, including significant structural and services changes required to convert an old bus interchange into a first class retail outlet.

Construction has now commenced on a new Woolworths store, and I doubt any store has a better view than this one. Woolworths Bermagui will bring a high quality food and liquor offering to this beautiful coastal town, and is due to open in Q2 2015. Restifa and Partners are working along side the Head Contractor, Rankin Builders, as design managers responsible for the coordination of all design and services. Construction work on the Chatswood Interchange retail component has now commenced, and a small army of builders and shopfitters are busily preparing for the North Shores most significant new retail centre to open. The Concourse retailers will commence trading around September 2014, and the Anchor Supermarket will open before Christmas 2014.

Restifa & Partners have reached a key milestone in the redevelopment of the San Antonio Nursing Home in Ryde, NSW, with Development consent being granted at Ryde Council’s planning committee meeting in September. With Federal Government funding and bed licenses having been granted earlier in the year, work has now commenced on the preparation of tender documents, with an aim to be on site early in 2014.

The redevelopment will add approximately 60 new beds to the facility, as well as improved recreational and visitor facilities. We look forward to delivering a first class facility to serve the local community.

Located on Sydney’s North Shore, Chatswood is amongst the top ten busiest stations in Sydney, making the interchange a bustling hub of office workers, students, shoppers, and residents of the adjoining residential towers. After a long dormant period, the development will complete the retail floor space, spread over four levels that provide a thoroughfare for the eastern and western areas of the Chatswood CBD.
